This report is RightFit’s launch-period snapshot of the public telehealth GLP-1 market as verified in September 2026. The dataset covered 27 published providers with 76 published semaglutide or tirzepatide provider programs and 104 published price observations. Of those price observations, 60 were classified as normal pricing and 44 as promotional pricing.

The first major split is compounded versus manufactured products

The September dataset shows why a single GLP-1 price average is difficult to interpret. Compounded programs and manufactured FDA-approved products occupy very different price ranges and use different commercial pathways. RightFit therefore summarizes them separately before looking at normal versus promotional pricing.

For compounded semaglutide normal-price observations in the September dataset, 22 observations across 21 providers ranged from $60 to $249 per month, with a median observation of $163. Compounded semaglutide promotional observations also numbered 22, across 15 providers, and ranged from $69 to $229, with a median of $127.50. Those promotional figures frequently carried starter, prepayment, or other eligibility conditions.

For compounded tirzepatide normal-price observations, the dataset contained 22 observations across 22 providers, ranging from $90 to $359 per month, with a median observation of $235. The 22 promotional compounded tirzepatide observations, across 14 providers, ranged from $99 to $329, with a median of $193.50.

Manufactured-product observations sit in a different market band

The manufactured-product rows should not be blended with the compounded rows. In the September dataset, published manufactured semaglutide normal-price observations ranged from $199 to $1,839, with a median observation of $1,498 across the seven observations captured. Manufactured tirzepatide normal-price observations ranged from $299 to $1,828, with a median of $1,399 across nine observations.

Those ranges include different brand-access and cash-pay structures, so even within the manufactured category the figures should be interpreted with their specific product and provider context. The key finding is not that one category is “better.” It is that mixing the categories into a single average would obscure a major product distinction.

Promotional pricing is a large part of the visible market

Forty-four of the 104 published semaglutide and tirzepatide price observations in the September snapshot were promotional. That means a large share of the prices a consumer encounters can be tied to new-customer offers, starter plans, multi-month prepayment, or other conditions.

RightFit keeps those observations separate from the 60 normal-price observations. This makes it possible to see how much apparent price competition is coming from temporary or conditional discounts rather than from the provider’s ordinary recurring rate.

Three recurring pricing models appear across the dataset

The first model is a bundled program price: medication and at least some clinical services are presented inside one recurring amount. The second is a separate-fee model: medication pricing sits beside a required membership or clinical-care charge. The third is a prepaid-discount model: a provider offers a lower monthly equivalent when several months are purchased at once.

A provider can also use more than one model across its catalog. For example, a company can bundle a compounded program while separating care fees from a brand-name prescription pathway. That is why the pricing structure belongs to the provider program rather than being treated as a permanent company-wide label.

Separate fees remain less common than medication-price rows

RightFit only creates a separate program-fee record when the provider explicitly publishes a charge outside the medication or program price. In the September weight-management dataset, the structured fee table included separate membership and consultation records for a limited subset of providers rather than assigning a fee to every company.

The sparseness of the fee table should not be read as proof that every absent provider has no additional cost. It means no separate public fee has been published into RightFit for that program. If a provider explicitly says its program has no membership fee, that can be documented; otherwise missing remains unknown.

Multi-month pricing can make the headline number look lower

Several September provider pages used three-, six-, or twelve-month packages to produce lower effective monthly rates. Those plans can be legitimate savings opportunities, but the lower monthly number often requires a larger upfront payment and different cancellation flexibility.

RightFit preserves the billing term and commitment with the price. A $150 monthly equivalent paid annually is not treated as the same commercial offer as $150 charged month to month.

The same-price-at-every-dose claim is provider-specific

Some providers stated that their current price remained the same across available doses, while other providers used different dose or quantity rules. The September report does not generalize one provider’s dose-pricing policy to the rest of the market.

This matters because a low starter amount is not necessarily the maintenance cost. When the provider publishes a dose-independent price, RightFit can record that condition. When the page does not make later-dose pricing clear, the dataset avoids projecting a starting price forward.

Current price competition is heavily shaped by packaging and billing

The September snapshot suggests that telehealth price competition is not simply a contest over the medication itself. Providers compete through starter discounts, prepaid terms, included clinical services, memberships, bundled shipping, coaching, support, and different product categories.

This is one reason a consumer can see two dramatically different headline prices without the offers being directly comparable. A useful market report has to preserve what the customer receives and what the customer commits to, not only the dollar amount.

Regulatory category remains a separate dimension

This report does not combine compounded and FDA-approved products into one product identity. FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. RightFit keeps regulatory status separate from provider marketing and price.

A market report can document a price gap between compounded and manufactured products without suggesting that the lower-cost category is equivalent to the higher-cost category or medically preferable.

What the September medians mean — and what they do not

The medians in this report are medians of the published RightFit price observations within the stated category, not estimates of a patient’s final cost. They do not account for individual insurance coverage, clinical eligibility, dose selection, manufacturer-program eligibility, or a provider changing the product after evaluation.

They are best used as a market-description tool: a way to see where verified public offers were clustering in September 2026 while retaining the ability to inspect the actual provider rows behind the summary.

Source and verification rules

Published commercial observations in the September dataset are tied to provider-primary sources. RightFit prefers provider-owned pricing pages, product pages, plans, FAQs, and current terms for price and program facts. Regulatory claims use regulator-primary sources.

Every published price observation is designed to carry a verification timestamp. When current provider pages conflict, the disputed figure can remain in review instead of being forced into the report.

What changed during launch QA

The launch-hardening review demonstrated why the verification model matters. Conflicting pricing on some provider pages remained in review, while other current provider pages supplied enough evidence to resolve previously uncertain prices or fee structures. State-availability conflicts were also corrected when a product-specific page provided stronger evidence than a general provider FAQ.

Those corrections reinforce a core rule for future reports: a monthly snapshot should be generated from the current verified structured data, not from copied prose or an older spreadsheet.

How future monthly reports can use this baseline

September 2026 is the first RightFit research baseline. Future reports can compare the current structured dataset with price-history records to identify actual changes in provider pricing, promotional intensity, program-fee structure, or product coverage.

A future increase in the number of observations should not automatically be described as market growth or price movement. It may simply reflect broader provider coverage. Trend analysis should distinguish new coverage from changes to previously tracked rows.

Limitations

The report covers the public telehealth programs RightFit had verified, not the entire U.S. GLP-1 market. It excludes unverified prices and does not represent individualized insurance benefits, clinical eligibility, final pharmacy checkout, or every possible formulation.

Provider pages can change after the verification date. Readers should confirm current product, price, fees, commitment, and eligibility directly with the provider before paying.

September 2026 takeaway

The clearest finding from the launch-period dataset is structural: public GLP-1 pricing cannot be understood from one average. Product category, promotion status, program fees, and commitment materially change what a headline number means.

RightFit’s research model is built to preserve those distinctions so future reports can show real market movement without flattening unlike products and billing models into a single number.

What promotional density says about the launch-period market

With 44 promotional observations against 60 normal observations, the September dataset shows that conditional pricing was not a minor edge case. Starter plans, new-customer offers, and prepaid equivalents were a substantial part of what consumers could see publicly. Future reports should therefore track promotional density separately from changes in standard rates.

Data-quality findings from the September hardening pass

The September QA process also identified why monthly research cannot be produced safely from copied marketing text alone. Some provider pages contained conflicting billing math, some had old campaign pages that disagreed with current canonical pricing, and some state-coverage statements differed between a general FAQ and a product-specific page. Those conflicts were either resolved using stronger first-party evidence or left in review.

The report therefore treats “unresolved” as a legitimate research outcome. Excluding a conflicting price from the published market snapshot is preferable to selecting an unsupported value simply to make the dataset appear complete.

Future monthly reports can consistently track normal-price observations, promotional observations, median prices by preparation type, separate-fee prevalence, prepaid-plan prevalence, provider count, verified state-coverage breadth, and the number of actual price changes. Keeping those definitions stable will make October-to-September comparisons more meaningful than a changing collection of ad hoc averages.

Why this report keeps the raw categories visible

This September 2026 report should be read as a dated market snapshot rather than a permanent price guide. Provider catalogs, promotions, manufacturer offers, memberships, and state availability can change after the reporting window. RightFit’s live tables are intended to carry those later changes while this report preserves the verified launch-period baseline.
