RightFit’s GLP-1 State Availability Index shows only provider-program-state combinations that have been directly verified from current provider-owned sources. The dataset covers a growing verified subset of RightFit providers and preserves provider restrictions instead of assuming that every program is nationwide.

Why availability belongs at the program level

A company can serve a state for one treatment or care model but not another. Clinician licensure, pharmacy networks, compounded-product rules, branded-drug access, and provider policies can all change independently. RightFit therefore stores availability against the provider program rather than applying one blanket state list to every product.

How RightFit handles restrictions

When a provider says it serves all 50 states but also warns that pharmacy or product restrictions can apply, the restriction stays attached to the record. When a provider names excluded states, the explorer includes only the states the provider says it currently serves.

Examples in the current verified set

Current direct-source records include nationwide weight-management availability statements for providers such as Mochi Health, OrderlyMeds, 10Rx, TRAVA, Trimi Health, Yucca Health, Gimme Care, Amble, GOAL.MD, and Good Life Meds. Other providers have narrower verified footprints, including Zappy Health in 49 states excluding Hawaii, TOM Weight Loss in Texas and Utah, NavioMD in 48 states excluding Alabama and Mississippi, and Coby Health excluding Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico.

Privacy

The state and provider filters run only in the visitor’s browser session. RightFit does not save the selected state or turn the selection into a health profile.

Update model

Each availability record stores the provider program, state or jurisdiction, availability status, source, restrictions, and verification timestamp. As more providers publish clear state coverage, the same explorer can expand without rewriting the page.

Current dataset scope

As of the current September 2026 verification pass, the weight-management availability dataset contains 3,207 published provider-program-jurisdiction rows across 67 provider programs and 22 published providers. The records represent 51 U.S. jurisdictions when state and District of Columbia coverage are combined. Of the published weight-management rows, 3,190 are marked available and 17 are explicit unavailable records.

Those counts describe structured observations, not unique patients, prescriptions, or provider market share. A provider with several verified GLP-1 programs can contribute multiple rows for the same state because availability is stored at the program level.

Why one provider can contribute several state maps

A company may offer compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, and FDA-approved brand programs under different pharmacy or care pathways. One program can have a broad footprint while another has exclusions. RightFit therefore links each availability row to a provider-treatment program rather than keeping one provider-wide state list.

That structure also makes updates safer. If one product changes state coverage, RightFit can update that program without overwriting valid coverage for the provider’s other programs.

Available, unavailable, and unverified are different states

An available row means a current provider-owned source supports availability for that program and jurisdiction. An unavailable row means the provider explicitly identifies an exclusion or restriction. No row means RightFit has not published a verified conclusion for that provider-program-state combination.

This distinction prevents missing research from turning into a false denial of access. It also prevents a provider’s broad national marketing statement from becoming product-level coverage when the exact program has not been verified.

Product-specific evidence can override a general provider statement

The Zappy Health correction from the launch-hardening pass illustrates the rule. A general help-center source supported broad national service, while current product-specific compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide pages stated that those programs were available in every U.S. state except Hawaii. RightFit updated the program rows to 49 available states plus an explicit Hawaii exclusion and tied them to the product-specific sources.

The stronger source was not chosen because it was more restrictive. It was chosen because it was more specific to the exact product programs being mapped.

Explicit exclusions are stored, not merely omitted

When a provider clearly names excluded states, RightFit can publish unavailable rows so the restriction is visible. Coby Health’s current source excludes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico for the relevant GLP-1 programs. NavioMD’s current FAQ supports 48-state service excluding Alabama and Mississippi for the verified programs.

An explicit unavailable row is more informative than simply leaving those states out because it distinguishes a known restriction from an unverified gap.

Narrow positive coverage is also useful

A provider does not need a national statement to appear in the index. TOM Weight Loss Clinic has current direct-source evidence for Texas and Utah. Those two verified states can be published without inferring anything about the other states.

Similarly, Emerge Weight Loss currently has an explicit California exclusion in the structured dataset while other state combinations remain unverified unless separately supported. The index can represent partial evidence without forcing a full national map.

What “50 states” means in the data

When a provider explicitly states that the relevant program is available in all 50 states, RightFit can create the corresponding state rows with the source and verification timestamp. If the provider also discusses pharmacy or product limitations, those restrictions remain attached as notes rather than being discarded.

District of Columbia is handled separately. A provider with 51 verified jurisdictions has explicit support for 50 states plus DC; a provider with 50 state rows should not automatically be described as including DC unless the source supports it.

Why general telehealth availability is not enough

Amazon One Medical now has program-specific coverage: its cash-pay on-demand weight-loss virtual care is available in 48 states and Washington, D.C., although direct-message care availability can vary by state. Embody, Fridays, Henry Meds, MEDVi, and SkinnyRx remain examples where RightFit does not automatically create full state maps from broad telehealth or provider-network claims alone.

Leaving those gaps unverified is intentional. It avoids turning general service availability, pharmacy licensing, or a contact-support statement into a medication-specific access claim.

How provider restrictions are preserved

The availability record can store the state or jurisdiction, availability status, restriction text, source, and verification timestamp. That makes it possible to preserve qualifications such as “subject to clinician eligibility,” pharmacy restrictions, or product limitations instead of reducing every row to a bare yes or no.

Why availability changes need fast re-verification

Telehealth state coverage can change when clinician networks expand, pharmacies change, product availability changes, or provider policy changes. A state map can therefore become stale even when the provider’s price stays the same.

RightFit’s update model treats availability as its own changing dataset. State records can be re-verified independently from pricing and provider profile information.

How the explorer should be interpreted

• A listed available state is supported by a published source for that provider program.
• A listed unavailable state reflects an explicit provider restriction.
• A missing state does not mean the program is unavailable.
• A provider missing entirely from the explorer has not yet met the state-data publication threshold for that program.
• A company-wide service statement does not automatically apply to every product.
• Availability can change after the last-verification date.

Privacy of the state filter

The state and provider filters are designed to operate in the visitor’s browser session. RightFit does not need to save the selected state as a health profile or send a medical-intake answer to the comparison database. The selection is used to filter public provider data, not to determine clinical eligibility.

What the index cannot establish

A provider-program-state row does not guarantee that an individual will qualify for treatment, that a specific pharmacy will fill the prescription, or that a product will remain in stock. Clinical eligibility and final fulfillment are determined by the healthcare provider and pharmacy under current conditions.

Future coverage expansion

The index can expand whenever a provider publishes sufficiently clear state information. Because the explorer is driven by structured rows, adding newly verified states or programs does not require manually rebuilding the map or rewriting the whole research page.

Future reports can also measure how much of the provider market has program-level state evidence, how many explicit exclusions are published, and which previously unverified providers become sufficiently documented to enter the explorer.

Bottom line

RightFit’s state index is a verified subset, not a guessed national coverage map. It publishes program-specific availability when first-party evidence supports it, publishes explicit exclusions when providers name them, and leaves the rest unverified. That conservative structure makes the missing data meaningful instead of misleading.
